After being married for 20 years,
which sounds long, and also feels long — Nira has questions.
She ticked all the boxes of adult life: motherhood, career, mortgage. She built the life. And now what? What do you do when you're not building anymore? What's left?
In Grounded, Nira goes looking for answers. Mostly in the wrong places.
It's a show about long-term relationships, getting older, wanting more when you already have enough, and the deeply embarrassing need to still be wanted.
It's just about wanting to be loved.
By anybody, really.
Even you.
The word menopause is not mentioned. Don't worry.
